Mission Statement

City/State/World formed to create projects that would present complex social and political ideas and arguments in an accessible and engaging manner. Initially we’ll be working primarily online, developing projects that are easy to disseminate through social media to a national audience.

Our first project is The Republican Future, a catalogue of both negative facts about the Grand Old Party’s recent record and dishonest, incoherent, and/or alarming statements and proposals made by its politicians. Each fact or statement is presented in clear, neutral language with a link to a reliable source and can be simply posted on Twitter or Facebook to spread through the user’s network. We have also made it easy for users to contribute material to the site’s database, with the hope that it will expand indefinitely.
